Hawaiian Elopement

It was a tropical day today, perfect for a beach wedding. The palm trees were swaying in the breeze and the waves were crashing below our balcony. It was warm and windy, so we talked about the best hair style that would last throughout the day.

After a short consultation, we decided to go with a low, soft upstyle that complimented the Brides neckline of her dress and framed her face. It went perfectly with the halo flower crown (haku lei) that the talented Allison over at Grace Flowers created. I just love how the greenery gives such a delicate touch to the flower crown.

We used long-wearing airbrush makeup and waterproof eye makeup to combat the island weather. Her skin looked flawless with light contouring, warm blushes and soft highlighting at the cheekbones. I was able to mix two longwear lip stains to find the perfect color for the brides lips, and I do give complimentary touch-up applications for the rest of the day.

I loved everything about her look, and her Anthropologie Bridal dress was enchanting. It was another beautiful day in paradise ❤
